    West Ham to Win

West Ham will be kicking themselves that they didn’t beat Bristol City at the London Stadium last week for a number of reasons. First, their failure to win has deprived them of a much-needed two-week break, leaving them with a midweek away trip five days before a trip to Sheffield United.

Second, they now travel to Bristol without two of their key players, with Jarrod Bowen picking up a knock and Mohammed Kudus departing for AFCON duty. There is a real chance that West Ham’s FA Cup journey could end at the first hurdle, but the Hammers should have just about enough to overcome their Championship opponents, even without those key players.

City have struggled for consistency, picking up just one point from their last three games, failing to score in each game. Before that, they had won three games on the spin, beating play-off hopefuls Hull, Watford and Sunderland.

The Hammers, on the other hand, have taken 10 points from their last four league games, keeping a clean sheet in each game. David Moyes’ side have made it hard for themselves, but they should progress to the fourth round.

James Ward-Prowse to Score or Assist

With Bowen and Kudus missing, the onus falls on the likes of James Ward-Prowse and Lucas Paqueta to deliver for West Ham. Ward-Prowse has enjoyed an excellent debut season since joining from Southampton in the summer, scoring three goals and registering ten assists in all competitions.

His ability from a dead ball is well-known and could provide the key to his side advancing on Tuesday night. He is a good price to register a goal involvement at Ashton Gate.

        Over 3.5 Cards

West Ham and Bristol City shared five cards in their meeting at the London Stadium last week and there is every chance that they will reach at least four. The away side were the best-disciplined team in the Premier League last season, picking up just 43 yellow cards in 38 league games.

They have already surpassed that tally after just 20 league games this season, picking up 45 bookings and a sending off. Moyes’ side average well over two cards per game, while The Robins average slightly under two cards per game, picking up 43 bookings and a sending off in 27 Championship games.

Between them, West Ham and Bristol should amass four cards on Tuesday, especially considering it is an FA Cup replay under the lights.

West Ham Goalkeeper to make 3 or more Saves

West Ham are an anomaly among the top teams in the Premier League. The Irons currently sit in sixth place in the league despite facing an average of 16.7 shots per game, the third-highest in the division, and recording an average of just 39.9%, the fifth-lowest in the division.

Moyes’ side is comfortable sitting in and absorbing pressure and this trip to Bristol is unlikely to be any different.

Bristol registered five shots on target in the drawn game at West Ham and are likely to put their opponents under similar pressure. They should force the West Ham ‘keeper into at least three saves.

Jason Knight to have 1 or more Shots on Target

Jason Knight has enjoyed a decent first season since making the switch from Derby. The energetic midfielder has only scored twice in 26 appearances to date, but it is not for want of trying.

He has attempted more shots than any other City player in the Championship this season, averaging 1.6 shots per game in the league. He is highly likely to get at least one opportunity to try his luck, considering the Hammers face almost 17 shots per game on average.

With that in mind, Knight is great value to register just one shot on target.
