Chelsea vs Sheffield United

Over 5.5 Cards

No teams have picked up more cards in the Premier League this season than Chelsea and Sheffield United.

Chelsea boast the worst disciplinary record in the division, with a whopping 49 bookings and three red cards to their name after 16 games, while Sheffield United sit just behind them in second with 49 bookings and two red cards.

Both sides average well over three cards per game and are likely to pile up the cards when they face off on Saturday afternoon.

It is hardly surprising that both sides boast such poor disciplinary records given that they have both struggled for large parts of the season, with Sheffield United propping up the Premier League table and Chelsea languishing in 12th.

There should be plenty of cards on Saturday afternoon.

Bournemouth vs Luton

Over 2.5 Goals

Bournemouth’s transformation has been incredible in recent weeks. From relegation candidates just a month ago, Bournemouth have now taken 13 points from their last five games, scoring 12 goals in the process.

They will be confident of picking up another three points on Saturday afternoon against a Luton side that has lost each of its last three away games.

However, Luton have scored seven times in their last four league games and have scored in four of their last five away games. They will carry a scoring threat of their own on Saturday, which should lead to an exciting game.

      Manchester City vs Crystal Palace

Jefferson Lerma to Commit 2 or more Fouls

Crystal Palace have been Manchester City’s bogey team in recent seasons and might fancy their chances on Saturday considering City’s patchy recent form. Regardless of the result, they will spend much of the afternoon without the ball, with their midfielders required to work overtime to deal with City’s incessant possession.

Jefferson Lerma has been a regular in the Palace midfield this season and boasts one of the highest foul averages of any Palace player, averaging 1.1 foul per Premier League game.

Lerma has been booked on three occasions, including last Saturday’s defeat against Liverpool, and could easily be drawn into at least two fouls at the Etihad.

      Newcastle vs Fulham

      Both Teams to Score

It has been a difficult week for Newcastle, with Eddie Howe’s side suffering consecutive three-goal defeats in the Premier League before crashing out of the Champions League when they lost at home to AC Milan on Wednesday night.

They face a Fulham side that has, amazingly, won each of its last two league games 5-0.

Fulham have scored an astonishing 16 goals in their last four games, including three at Anfield, and will be confident of scoring against a Newcastle defence that has conceded nine goals in three games in all competitions.

However, Fulham have conceded 17 goals in eight away league games this season and are likely to concede against a Newcastle side that will be looking for a response after an extremely trying week.

Howe’s side have scored in all eight of their home league games this season and are unlikely to draw a blank on Saturday afternoon.

        Over 6.5 Newcastle Corners

It would be a huge shock if Newcastle didn’t come out fighting on Saturday. They are likely to put Fulham under significant pressure and will almost certainly lay siege to the Fulham goal during Saturday’s encounter.

Fulham are more than happy to sit deep in away league games, with Marco Silva’s side facing 71 shots in their last four away games at a rate of almost 18 per game.

It would be surprising if Newcastle didn’t match that average, which could translate into a high number of corners.

Newcastle have won 33 corners in their last six home games at a rate of 5.5 per game, but that average should significantly increase against Fulham on Saturday.
