Bournemouth vs Aston Villa

Vitality Stadium, Bournemouth

Bournemouth to have 5 or more Shots on Target

Aston Villa claimed yet another impressive win last week with a brilliant come-from-behind win at Tottenham, but it was far from plain sailing.

Villa faced 18 shots and eight efforts on target during last Sunday’s win, with Spurs missing several golden chances to at least equalise. As good as Unai Emery’s side have been this season, they haven’t exactly been convincing away from home.

The Midlanders have played seven away league games this season, conceding 15 goals and facing a total of 35 shots on target at an average of exactly five per game.

They face a rejuvenated Bournemouth side here that has won two games on the bounce to move seven points clear of the bottom three.

The Cherries finally seem to have found their feet under Andoni Iraola and registered a staggering 21 shots on target in their back-to-back wins against Newcastle and Sheffield United. There is a good chance they will manage at least five.

Chelsea vs Brighton

Stamford Bridge, London

Over 3.5 Goals

Brighton have played 13 games this season and have, amazingly, yet to keep a clean sheet or draw a blank.

Every single Seagulls league game has seen both teams find the back of the net, with Roberto De Zerbi’s side scoring the third-most goals in the league whilst simultaneously boasting the worst defensive record in the top 10.

No team has been involved in more goals than Brighton’s 51, with De Zerbi’s side scoring 28 and conceding 23. Chelsea, meanwhile, have either scored four or conceded four in each of their last three league games.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side ran out 4-1 winners against nine-man Tottenham before drawing 4-4 against Manchester City in a thriller before the international break. Most recently, they went down to a 4-1 defeat at Newcastle.

It appears that both sides are incapable of keeping the opposition out, which should make for a highly entertaining game.

Liverpool vs Fulham

Anfield, Liverpool

Mohamed Salah to Score

Mohamed Salah is quietly enjoying a brilliant season for Liverpool. The Egyptian forward has scored 10 goals in 13 league appearances this season, with the vast majority of those goals coming at home.

Salah has scored eight goals in six league appearances at Anfield this season and is good value to add to his tally against Fulham.

The Cottagers have taken just three points from their last six away league games and were comfortably beaten by Aston Villa in their most recent away day.

This sort of fixture has a comfortable 3-0 Liverpool win written all over it and Salah is extremely likely to be among the goalscorers.

West Ham vs Crystal Palace

London Stadium, London

Under 4.5 Cards

No team boasts a better disciplinary record than Crystal Palace this season. Roy Hodgson’s side have received just 23 yellow cards in 13 games this season and have received one yellow card or fewer in six of their 13 league games to date.

West Ham, meanwhile, have picked up significantly more yellow cards than Palace, collecting 33 bookings and one sending off, but the Hammers do boast one of the lowest foul counts in the league.

David Moyes’s side commit an average of 10.5 fouls per game in the league, which is the fourth-lowest of all Premier League sides. There is a good chance that Sunday’s clash will be free of any real needle.

Mohammed Kudus to have 1 or more Shots on Target

Mohammed Kudus has settled down at West Ham extremely quickly, scoring five goals in all competitions from just 10 starts.

The Ghanaian has been a revelation and will be chief amongst their goalscoring threats on Sunday, especially in the expected absence of Jarrod Bowen.

Kudus averages two shots per game in all competitions this season and clearly has an eye for goal, given that he has scored in every second start for the Hammers since signing in the summer. He is good value to land at least one effort on target on Sunday.
