Arsenal vs Wolves

Brentford vs Luton

Over 6.5 Brentford Corners

Burnley vs Sheffield United

Turf Moor, Burnley

Over 2.5 Goals

It is hard to know who this game is more important for. Burnley sit bottom of the table and have lost each of their last six games, while they have lost all seven outings at Turf Moor this season.

Sheffield United, meanwhile, are currently a point ahead in 18th and were humiliated by Bournemouth at home last weekend, although they did manage to take four points from the two previous games.

One thing is certain about this six-pointer, however – neither team can defend to save their lives.

The Blades’ record of 34 goals conceded in 13 league games is the worst in the division, with only one other side conceding north of 30 goals. There are no prizes for guessing that the other side is Burnley, who have conceded 32 goals in the league this season.

Neither side has kept a clean sheet this season and it’s hard to see either of them putting that record to an end. There should be plenty of goals.

Burnley to have 5 or more Shots on Target

Unsurprisingly, no side has faced more shots in the league this season than Sheffield United. The Blades face an average of 19 shots per game in the league, which is 2.5 shots higher than the next-highest average.

Burnley, meanwhile, have recorded the third-fewest shots on target in the league so far, but they have registered five shots on target in each of their last two home league games.

There is a good chance that they will record five shots on target for the third home game in a row against such a leaky Sheffield United defence.

Arsenal vs Wolves

Emirates Stadium, London

Over 3.5 Wolves Cards

Wolves can’t seem to catch a break with Premier League officials this season. From a penalty not given in their favour at Old Trafford to dubious spot-kicks given in games against Newcastle, Fulham, Luton, and Sheffield United, Wolves have a strong case for being the most wronged team in England.

They are also the second worst-disciplined side in the league, collecting 41 yellow cards and three red cards in 13 games. Gary O’Neil’s side also commit the most fouls in the league at 13.8 per game and are likely to collect a number of cards in this trip to the Emirates.

Arsenal’s opponents in north London this term have collected 21 cards in seven league games at an average of three per game and there is every chance that Wolves will slightly better that average given their poor disciplinary record.

Brentford vs Luton

Gtech Community Stadium, Brentford

Bryan Mbuemo to Score or Assist

Bryan Mbuemo is enjoying a stellar season in Ivan Toney’s absence. The 24-year-old has scored six goals and assisted twice in 13 league appearances for the Bees, and has scored twice as many goals as any other Brentford player.

He has also recorded the joint-most assists of anyone at the club and has been pivotal in steadying the ship during Toney’s suspension.

He is by far the most likely Brentford player to register a goal contribution on Saturday and is good value to do so.

Over 6.5 Brentford Corners

Luton have punched above their weight in the Premier League so far and are proving very good at making life difficult for their far richer opponents.

They are never going to dominate games, especially away from home, and are therefore content to defend their own box and prevent as many clear-cut chances as possible. That naturally translates itself into a number of opposition corners.

Luton have conceded 38 corners in six away league games this season at a rate of over six per game and there is every chance that they will at least match that average at Brentford.

The hosts are likely to control the ball and the territory and could win a large number of corners as they probe for ways through the Luton defence.
