Manchester City (-2)
Manchester City may already be league champions by the time they play Chelsea, depending on the result of Arsenal’s trip to Nottingham Forest on Saturday evening, but there is little doubt that they will wrap up a third league title in a row by the end of the weekend. City and Chelsea is about as big a mismatch as any pairing of two Big Six clubs could possibly be.
Chelsea, having spent north of £600 million players this season, find themselves on just 43 points and are almost guaranteed to finish with fewer than 50 points. They have won just one game in eight under Frank Lampard and have won just once in their last nine league games, losing five.

If they hadn’t managed late, late winners against Crystal Palace (twice) and West Ham, they would genuinely find themselves in the relegation dogfight on the final day of the season. City eased to a 4-0 win over Chelsea in the FA Cup earlier in the year and will be confident of a similar result again on Sunday.
Pep Guardiola’s side have beaten Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich by three goals or more at the Etihad this season and should have no problems repeating the feat against a Chelsea side that looks as though it can’t wait for the season to end. Manchester City (-2) looks a bet.
Chelsea to Receive The Most Cards
Not only do City and Chelsea find themselves a whopping 42 points apart in the Premier League table, but they also find themselves at opposite ends of the league’s disciplinary table. City boast the second-best disciplinary record in the league this season, picking up just 42 bookings and one sending off in 35 games.
Chelsea, meanwhile, languish in 15th in the disciplinary table, picking up 73 yellow cards and three yellow cards in the same number of games. The fact that they have picked up almost double the number of cards as City notwithstanding, Chelsea are also more likely to receive more cards than City purely because of each side’s style of play.
City will almost certainly dominate the ball at the Etihad and it is likely that Chelsea will chase shadows for large parts of the game. It wouldn’t be surprising to see them amount a significant number of bookings and for Chelsea to Receive the Most Cards.
Chelsea Under 2.5 Corners
Unsurprisingly, Manchester City concede the fewest corners in the Premier League. Guardiola’s side concede an average of just 2.3 corners per game in the league this season, largely thanks to the fact that they dominate the ball in almost every game they play.
City’s average of 62% possession per game is by far the highest in the league and restricts their opponents from enjoying sustained pressure in City’s half, reducing the chances of City conceding corners. In their last six league games at the Etihad, City have conceded just 14 corners, conceding two corners or fewer in four of those six games.
Chelsea, on the other hand, have won two corners or fewer in three of their last five league outings. There is every chance that they will fail to significantly trouble City on Sunday afternoon so Chelsea Under 2.5 Corners is a good price.
Rodri to Commit 2 or More Fouls
Rodri, like Fernandinho before him, has developed an uncanny knack for escaping yellow cards. The Spanish midfielder makes more fouls than any other City player, averaging 1.4 fouls per game in the league, but has only picked up five bookings throughout the season.
Rodri is adept at making the sort of fouls that stop a team from building momentum and is good value to make two or more on Sunday. There is a good chance that Rodri will make his customary niggly fouls to stop Chelsea in their tracks, if Lampard’s side ever manage to build up a head of steam. Rodri to Commit 2 or More Fouls rounds us off.
