These two have made hay this season and have been two of the shining lights in the Premier League this season. Yes, there’s been that investment at Newcastle but I’ve loved watching both of these teams.

Maybe it’s because Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs have not done well, but these teams took advantage of that. Brighton, how do they do it? They got battered at home 5-1 by Everton and then you go to The Emirates and oh my god, what a performance, certainly in the second half, beating Arsenal 3-0.

Which Brighton is going to turn up? I do think they’re a great team, I do think they like to upset the odds but I can’t split these. I really can’t. It’s a really difficult one.

Brighton have lost two of their last four away games but they will be encouraged as Newcastle haven’t kept a clean sheet in the last eight Premier League games.

Newcastle have lost only five of 35 Premier League games. I’m going to sit on the fence with this. I’m going for a Desmond. I do think it’s going to be 2-2.
