Some European football royalty are in action on Ssaturday night, Real Madrid host Getafe with an eye on the second leg of Champions League semi-final against Manchester City on the horizon while PSG host Ajaccio as they chase down the Ligue Un title.
Kicking us off though are Inter Mulan who will still be glowing following their 2-0 win over rivals AC Milan in the other semifinal and take on Sassuolo.
Inter v Sassuolo

Inter are bottom of Italy’s top four and while their minds will no doubt be on facing Milan next Tuesday in the other Champions League semi-final, they also need to stay ahead of their city rivals in the league standings. At the time of writing, just two points separate the sides.
The hosts should be coming out on top here however, they’ve finally found some form, winning four of their last five in the league while Sassuolo have lost three and won two of their last five on their travels. The hosts average well over five corners per game with the visitors averaging just shy of five so we’re expecting at least 10 over the 90 here.
Sassuolo to Receive the Most Cards
Inter are one of the most well-behaved teams in the league while Sassuolo are the eighth worst offenders with 80 cards to Inter’s 60. Over their last seven games at home, Inter have picked up fewer cards than their opponents in four of those matches and with the away side averaging 2.29 cards per away league game this season we should see them picking up more than the hosts.

PSG v Ajaccio
TV: BT Sport 1, 8pm
Kylian Mbappe to Score 2 or More Goals
The rumour mill is saying today that PSG are going to reduce Lionel Messi’s suspension and he should feature here against Ajaccio. Sure they may as well try and get their money’s worth since he’s off to Saudi Arabia next season. Neymar might be off to Newcastle, although most of us don’t believe that but he seems to be leaving too meaning Kylian Mbappe will have nobody threatening his top dog status for the foreseeable future.
He’ll be all too aware of this and he’s looking to fire his team towards another title. PSG need seven more points to clinch the title and the French star is going to be gunning for goals here. He has two in two against Ajaccio over his career and has five over his last four for the Parisians. He’ll almost certainly score one but we’re liking the look of him to score twice here.
Both Teams to Score, No
Ajaccio are a pretty poor side, although not the worst in the league it can be said. They’ve won none of their last six on their league excursions and only scored in two of them. We can’t see them creating much here so a Both Teams to Score, No pick makes the list.
Real Madrid v Getafe
TV: LaLigaTV/Viaplay, 8pm
Real Madrid -1
Real Madrid are seven points ahead of Real Sociedad in the La Liga standings so their Champions League place for next season should be assured. We should see Carlo Ancellotti rotating his side here as they prepare for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Man City next Wednesday. Real’s second sting 11 isn’t all that bad though and you’d have to imagine they’ll take the three points.
Los Blancos have won four of their last five at home in La Liga, scoring 17 goals. Getafe have won none of their last 10 on their travels and have failed to score in three of their last five and have even failed to score in all four of their most recent visits to the Bernabeu. Real should be winning by at least two goals here.
