Sunday football tips

Sunday 2pm: Newcastle v Tottenham
Newcastle To Win 2-0
Alexander Isak to Score Anytime

Sunday 4.30pm: Brighton v Manchester United
Brighton To Win 2-1
Alexis Mac Allister to Score Anytime

Sunday 2pm: Newcastle v Tottenham

TV: Sky Sports

It’s amazing isn’t it? Newcastle were on a good run and they came up against a brick wall that was Aston Villa. They had won five Premier League games on the trot before that defeat. They’ve lost only four of 30 Premier League games so Newcastle are not in a bad vein of form.

The fans are absolutely buzzing, St James’ Park is alive. Spurs, what do we make of them? You hear that saying ‘Spursy’, they’re certainly that at the moment. They’ve won just one of the last four Premier League games and have lost six of 15 games in 2023.

This is just astonishing; they’ve not won in their last four away games. They’ve lost two and drawn two so I am going for a Newcastle victory. They’re flying up there, Newcastle. I am going for Alexander Isak to Score Anytime for Newcastle.

It was a toss up between him and Callum Wilson but I’m going for Isak as he was alive last weekend, he had a couple of chances against Villa. I do think Newcastle will keep a clean sheet so I’ll go for 2-0 to Newcastle.

Sunday 4.30pm: Brighton v Manchester United

TV: BBC

This Brighton team are an exceptional team. They beat Chelsea, they had a fantastic performance at Spurs in which they deserved more than they got. With this being on neutral turf at Wembley they’ll have no fear. I fancy Brighton to win this FA Cup semi-final.

Manchester United will be reeling, not just from the defeat against Sevilla, but the manner of the defeat, how they played and how they’re being talked about in the media.

They’ve also got these injuries to centre backs and in other areas. I know some came back against Seville but they looked a little rusty to me. Brighton have been flying with just two defeats in their last 13 Premier League games.

I just fancy Brighton to win this game but I think both teams will score. I’ve got Brighton to win this one 2-1, so it will be close, and Alexis Mac Allister to Score at Anytime.
