All eyes will be on Anfield on Tuesday night when Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool welcome Real Madrid to town for the first leg of their Last 16 Champions League clash. Liverpool haven’t beaten Real in any of their last six meetings but they’re starting to get some form. Maybe. Elsewhere, Eintracht will have a tough task on their hands when they take on a rampant Napoli in Frankfurt.

Mo Salah to Score Anytime
Stating the obvious here but Mo Salah’s Premier League form hasn’t been great this season. Scoring eight goals from 22 wouldn’t be a bad return for most inside wingers but for Salah more is expected. However, in the Champions League he’s scored seven over his six games and now that Liverpool are finding some form, has scored two in his last four appearances for the Reds. For a regular Champions League goalscorer we’re getting some tasty odds here for Salah to get his name on the scoresheet here.
Real Madrid to Win
Liverpool are favourites with the market here but you have to look at recent games. They’ve beaten Everton and Newcastle over their last two games. Everton had won just one of their 11 games prior to crossing Standley Park while Newcastle had drawn five and won one of their last six before facing the Reds. Real Madrid have just won the Club World Cup against teams better than both Everton and Newcastle.
Los Blancos have won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five, we’re excluding the Club World Cup here, and on their travels have won three and lost two. Liverpool have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five while at Anfield have won three and drawn two. We just think this match is too soon for Liverpool, they seem to be on the up but we’ve seen a few false starts with them already this season.
Real have beaten them in five of their last six meetings over recent years and just have more goals in them with Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior who have 27 goals between them already this season. We think they’ll be the difference makers here and Real will take a victory back to Madrid.

Napoli are, of course, very much fancied to take the win against Frankfurt but are still priced above Evens thanks to Eintracht’s strong home record. The German side have won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five while at the Waldstadion have won all five previous fixtures.
Napoli are marching towards their first Serie A title since 1990 and have won all five of their most recent games while on their travels have won four and lost one, scoring nine and conceding just one. Hard to see them keeping a clean sheet here however as the hosts have scored a mighty 16 goals over their last five on home turf. With those records, we’re getting some decent value in the Over 2.5 goals market.
Eintracht Frankfurt Over 1.5 Cards
It’s the host who have collected more cards over their league and Champions League games this season. The German side have collected 43 Yellow Cards and two Red Cards over their 27 matches while Napoli have notched up 39 Yellow Cards over their 29 matches.
Something very interesting which we found in the stats is that Napoli’s recent opponents have collected at least two cards in all six of their most recent games and in all eight of their previous away games too. They draw loads of fouls so we’re adding Over 1.5 Cards for Eintracht Frankfurt to our Bet Builder.
