Spurs have fought back to get two big results this week but they’re still not playing that well.

Even though they’ve gone through in the Champions League and are third in the league you feel like there’s always a little bit more within them.

Against Marseille they were quite defensive in the first half and then you see how they played in the second and you wonder why they can’t do it from the start?

It’s frustrating that it takes going a goal down to start playing like that.

OVER 2.5 Goals

I can see that pattern repeating on Sunday.

The win over Napoli was an important result Liverpool. The Italian side have been flying this season.
I know both sides were through, but I still think it was important to find a performance to erase the Forest and Leeds games. I don’t see them finishing outside of the top 4 even if winning the league now looks like too big a task.
Tottenham will approach this the way they do every game, to contain the opposition.
But Liverpool have their way of playing too. I can see them getting ahead in the first half because that’s the way they want to play, and then Tottenham coming back into it when they have to play in the second half.
I could see it finishing even, or maybe Liverpool edge it, but I definitely think there’ll be goals.

HARRY KANE TO SCORE OR ASSIST

Spurs’ options up-front are getting thinner with Son now injured, and Kuluseveki and Richarlison also in the physio room.

It means Harry Kane’s the clear attacking focus for them and I’d expect him to be involved with anything good they do.
I think Darwin Nunez will come good. He’s missing a chance then scoring but the fans are sticking with him and he’s got a decent goal record this season now.
But Mo Salah is still the main man for Liverpool and will be a threat on Sunday as usual.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to commit 1 or more fouls

The two clubs have a bit of history recently, the game should have a bit of spice to it.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg for Spurs is usually in the thick of it and I could see him making a few fouls as Spurs try to dig in.
