The Bundesliga returns on Friday night with a bang. Bayern Munich are under pressure from their fans and the media to deliver after some lacklustre performances of late and their opponents are looking to get their season off to a proper start after what was a pretty poor state of affairs going into the international break. Bayern Munich vs Bayer Leverkusen: Leroy Sane to Score or Assist
Serge Gnaby has a strong record against Leverkusen, scoring four goals over his six appearances against them but this season has only started three league games, coming on as a substitute in four and was a sub against England midweek for the national side. Former Liverpool player Sadio Mane started off very well for FC Hollywood but has now gone five games without a goal so we’d need him to find some form again before backing him to be among the goals.
The burden of responsibility for goals then will fall to that old stalwart, Thomas Muller who has eight goals over his 27 appearances against the Eternal Bridesmaids while former Manchester City winder Leroy Sane has one in seven against them. Sane though is in the better form of the pair, scoring two over his last four in a Bayern shirt and has two over his two Champions League appearances this season too. He’s also provided the assist for a few goals this season too so we feel we’re getting a very good value price for him to either score or assist here..
Bayern Munich vs Bayer Leverkusen: Jonathan Tah to be Booked
Jonathan Tah is a player who we’re likely to be seeing more of in coming years, the young German has been steadily making a name for himself at the heart of Leverkusen’s defence for the last few seasons and has featured a few times for the national team over the last couple of seasons. He’s going to be desperate to make the team sheet for this year’s World Cup but it might come just a little too soon with Germany having a pretty established back line under Hansi Flick.
Back to this match though, so far this season he’s been a bit naughty, collecting three yellow cards over his seven league appearances as well as another one over his two Champions League fixtures and with the likes of Sadio Mane, Leroy Sane, Thomas Muller and either of Jamal Musiala or Serge Gnabry bearing down on him we see Tal as the most likely of Leverkusen’s XI to be pencilled into the referee’s book over the 90 minutes.

Bayern Munich vs Bayer Leverkusen: Over 10.5 Corners
Bayern’s home games so far have seen them averaging 8.33 corners so far in the Bundesliga while the away side have been averaging four over their away games. Looking at the total corners though we see that the Bavarians’ home games have seen an average of 10 corners per game while Leverkusen matches have, on average seen seven corners.
There’s certainly pressure on the home side to perform here and put some of the criticism to bed and against a Bayer side lacking confidence we reckon they’ll be going all-out attack here and we see plenty of goal-mouth action which means plenty of corners and with the averages in our favour here we’re getting a good value price for Over 10.5 match corners here.

Bayern then should get back to winning ways here and have beaten their opponents by at least two goals in three of their last five meetings at both grounds and four of their last seven on home soil.
