The Women’s FA Cup final was played out in front of a record attendance of 49,094 spectators at Wembley last Sunday, with Chelsea coming out on top against Manchester City.
After the Blues’ men’s side played out a goalless draw against Liverpool on Saturday, it was far more entertaining stuff 24 hours later as Emma Hayes’ side won 3-2 thanks to Sam Kerr’s extra-time winner, with the Australian netting her second goal of the game.
