Some people are greedy, some like to follow the latest trends. Some are just flat-out glory hunters who can’t resist the big names and the allure of glistening silverware.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
We are, of course, talking about the football fans who have more than one team. To fully understand this phenomenon there’s only one man for the job – Jamie Redknapp. You can check out the video on the embedded tweet below if you dare.
Do you know someone who supports two teams? How would you feel if it was Rangers and Celtic?

Join Jamie as he meets two brothers who grew up supporting Manchester United during the glory days. Now one, dubbed a ‘hipster b***end’ by Redknapp also supports St Pauli because of their ‘work in the community’ and the other has been taken in by the sights and sounds of Paris St-Germain.
Despite admitting that he just got ‘sick of United being rubbish,’ he’s clearly been sucked in by the promise of guaranteed trophies. That and Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar Jnr, no doubt. And that’s why he’s PSG till he dies. And Man U.
Thigs take a turn when Jamie meets the rarest of all beasts – a man who supports Rangers AND Celtic. Gus’ mother’s a Catholic and his father’s a protestant. “I’ve got both cultures in my heart, really,” He explains over some toast before declaring; “We are the people and Rangers are f**king dead.”
To be fair to Gus he’s Rangers and Celtic to the core. So much so that he actually got into a fight with himself during The Gers’ title celebrations at the end of last season.
Court proceedings are ongoing
With Jamie reaching boiling point a trip to meet a Cardiff and Villarreal was is the final straw. He’s carted off by the police for crimes against football. “Serves him right” Jamie surmises. Spot on as always.
