Crystal Palace face Premier League opposition for the first time in the FA Cup this season as Frank Lampard’s Everton travel to Selhurst Park. The Blues come into the game fresh off of a vital win against Newcastle on Thursday night. Check out Phil Thompson’s Palace v Everton tips below.
Sunday, March 20: 12:30pm – Crystal Palace v Everton
TV: ITV 1
For Everton, how big was that game in midweek?! 99 minutes and they come up trumps, with Iwobi! Everton have lost seven out of their last nine, that is really not good.
I’m not quite sure they were worthy of the three points against Newcastle.
I do fancy Palace, I think Patrick Viera has done great, they’re unbeaten in four games now in the Premier League, and they’re having a great time, scoring goals at home. 22 home goals probably their best return for a long, long time.
I think Lampard will make some changes, but not many, because one thing that Evertonians do want is a trophy, to give them something, and I think he still will go strong.
But I don’t think it will do them good enough, Palace are in good form.
I’m going to go for Palace to win 2-0,
And for goalscorers, Conor Gallagher to score anytime – he’s having a terrific season, he’s scored goals, him and Zaha have got a good goal return this season.
