Thommo’s only just calmed down after Wednesday’s Champions League action. An astonishing comeback saw Real progress the quarter-finals and – more importantly – all three of Phil’s tips come in! And now he’s back for more.
Chelsea host a rejuvenated Newcastle on Sunday hoping to put their off-field distractions to one side. Their top four place isn’t yet secured and there’s work to be done before Thomas Tuchel’s side can start planning next season’s European adventures. The Magpies, meanwhile, are in buoyant form having moved away from the relegation zone in recent weeks after a run of eight matches unbeaten. These are Phil’s best bets for the Stamford Bridge encounter…

With everything that’s happening off the pitch, it’s a good time to go to Stamford Bridge.
You’re looking at Newcastle and they’re on a good run. The important thing when you’re down near the bottom is beating the teams in and around you – the likes of Leeds, Everton, Villa, Brentford – and that’s what they’ve done.
They’re eight games unbeaten and that’s given them confidence which is always vital.
You look at Chelsea and all the off-field things with Abramovic are circling them. I think Tuchel will have to turn it into a siege mentality thing. They got a big victory against Burnley last weekend beating them 4-0.
They followed that up against Norwich 3-1 on Thursday and before that had won three league games in a row without conceding so they’ve been strong and hard to beat. This is after winning just one of the previous seven before that.
So I am expecting Chelsea to win this one and I don’t expect them to concede either, I’m going for 2-0.
I think Kai Havertz is having a really good spell, he’s starting to score goals and his performance level is very high. So, I’m going for 2-0 to Chelsea and Havertz to score anytime.
