It’s all eyes on Europe on Sunday night with several top sides in action across France, Italy and Spain. First up we’re off to the Mediterranean where Marseille will be out to cement their place in the top three of the Ligue Un table against a struggling Monaco side rooted in mid-table.

Serie A is our next point of call for a huge showdown between title challengers Napoli and AC Milan. Both lie just a point off leaders Inter as the title race really heats up. We finish with some La Liga action, where Atletico Madrid travel down to Seville to tackle Real Betis. Diego Simeone’s side trail their hosts by just a point in the race for a top-four finish.

7.45pm: Marseille v Monaco – Marseille to Win

Despite the table suggesting otherwise, both of these sides are in poor recent form. Monaco have failed to beat 13th, 20th and 16th in Ligue 1 in their last three, and are showing little sign of being able to challenge for a European qualification spot.
Marseille lost 2-0 to Clermont in their last home game in the league, but don’t expect lightning to strike twice. They can go 2nd in the standings with a victory and they should have too much quality, especially at the Velodrome for their south-coast rivals here.
7.45pm: Napoli v AC Milan – The Draw
TV: BT Sport 1
Despite having the carrot of taking top spot in Serie A on offer, this one could end up in a stalemate with two good teams cancelling each other out. Napoli have drawn their last two in the league and were thumped by Barcelona in the Europa League.
AC Milan have also drawn their last two, as well as seeing out a goalless battle with rivals Inter in the Coppa Italia midweek. More of the same looks possible at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona.

8pm: Real Betis v Atletico Madrid – Both Teams To Score and Over 2.5 goals
TV: La Liga TV
To another juicy clash involving direct rivals in the table. The title may have gone for both of these sides, but there’s a real scrap on for the Champions League qualification spots. Betis sit third, a point clear of the defending champions and sandwiched between them (at the time of writing) are Barcelona.
Put simply, we fancy goals here. BTTS has landed in five of Betis’ last seven in La Liga, with Over 2.5 in five of last six. It’s been BTTS: No in Atletico’s last three La Liga games but they have been playing weaker teams. Prior to their mini-revival, both teams scored in six of seven and Over 2.5 in five of their last seven. We can’t pick a winner, so we’ll side with goals.
