Phil Thompson landed five winning punts over the Premier League weekend and is back for more now the focus has turned to Europe.
Our resident tipping guru has been studying the formbook for the battle between Villarreal and Juventus on Tuesday night.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS
The Spanish side qualified in second-place in their group behind Manchester United to book their place in the Last 16. Juve edged out defending champions Chelsea to seal top spot in their pool and will be eager to take a positive result back to Italy for the return leg.
But will they get one? Thommo certainly doesn’t think so…
Villarreal v Juventus – Tuesday, February 22: 8pm
BT Sport 3
THOMMO: This is a difficult one to call.
People will probably side with Juventus, but I know Villarreal. I’ve been there twice to watch Liverpool. It’s a nice and small, tight ground.
Juventus may be going there thinking this could be comfortable, but it’s a tricky place to go.
They have a couple of ex-Premier League players there, including Giovani Lo Celso on loan from Spurs.
They won 4-1 away at Granada last weekend with former Bournemouth man Arnaut Danjuma bagging a hat-trick – although two of those were penalties.
He is one to look at, and I’ve got him on my scoresheet.

They’re down in sixth in the table, three points behind Barcelona in fourth .The week before that big win over Granada they kept a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw with Real Madrid.
They are not a bad outfit, and this will be tough for Juventus.
Juve drew 1-1 with neighbours Torino last Friday, but they are down in fourth, nine points off the top. It’s not going brilliantly for them.
They’re the lowest scorers in Serie A’s top nine sides. Juventus only scored 38 goals in 26 games – perhaps that why they signed striker Dusan Vlahovic in January!
That’s why I fancy Villarreal to win this one. I’ll go with a 2-1 scoreline.
I also like Arnaut Danjuma to bag one of those.
