It’s a busy evening of footie across the continent on Monday, with a mouthwatering cup clash between France’s top two being the standout. We’ll also take a look at a meeting between a couple of big clubs in League One, while there’s league action in Portugal and Spain. Let’s check out our acca for Monday!

7pm: Estoril v Pacos Ferreira – Draw

We start off in Portugal as Pacos Ferreira make the long trip to Estoril in the Primeira Liga. The hosts are without a win in six games in all competitions and have not secured all three points at the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota since August. They have drawn five of their nine home fixtures, however, so they’re a tough nut to crack on their own patch. Pacos Ferreira have picked up eight points from their last five games to climb the table in recent weeks but their away record is patchy, which doesn’t inspire enough confidence to back them for the win. A Draw can kick off the acca in style.

7:45pm: Portsmouth v Charlton – Under 2.5 Goals

Next up, we’re heading to the south coast of England for mid-table League One action. Portsmouth have hardly set the world alight at Fratton Park this season, picking up 21 points from 12 fixtures. Danny Cowley’s men have scored just 17 goals in those games but they’re mean at the back and they boast the third best defensive record in the division. Charlton’s form has dropped off a little since Johnnie Jackson was handed the permanent manager’s job last month, and the Addicks have a similar profile to Pompey; they’re hardly prolific but they don’t concede too many. Under 2.5 Goals will do us!

8pm: Ibiza v Real Zaragoza – Draw

The party island plays host to the third leg of our acca. Ibiza head into the Segunda Division game on a high after sticking five goals past Malaga last weekend to take their unbeaten streak to four games but their home form is patchy, claiming just five points from their last six games at the Estadi Municipal de Can Misses. Real Zaragoza’s record on the road is not too shabby for a team in the bottom half of the table and they simply love a draw this season, with 13 of their 24 league fixtures ending with the points shared. The two teams played out a stalemate at the start of the campaign so we’ll take a chance on another Draw.

8:15pm: PSG v Nice – PSG & Both Teams To Score

A cracking contest to round off things off as France’s top two teams meet in the Coupe de France. Nice head into the last-16 clash with six wins on the spin in all competitions, while defending champions PSG have not lost at home since last April. The two teams played out a goalless league draw at the start of December but this is likely to be a much more open affair as PSG have a depleted squad due to injuries and international call-ups. Despite Mauricio Pochettino’s hand being weakened, PSG still have plenty in reserve and boast a prolific record in this competition, having reached the final in each of the last seven seasons. We’re on PSG & Both Teams To Score.
