WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS
The latest football odds are on PaddyPower.com right nowWe’ll also be looking at the Nantes vs Brest clash from the French Cup but, first off, we have Huddersfield Town taking on Stoke City in the Championship. I’ve gone searching for value here and found a four-fold acca that’s hopefully going to get our weekend off to a bang.

7.45pm: Huddersfield vs Stoke: Huddersfield Win & BTTS
TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football
Huddersfield will be looking to leapfrog West Brom into fifth position while Stoke could move from 11th to 9th should they come away with the spoils. The home side are in the better form though, winning five of their last seven in all competitions, drawing the other two.
In the Championship the Terriers are unbeaten over their last eight games and over their last five have won three and drawn two while on home turf at the Kirklees Stadium have won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five, scoring seven and conceding six with Both Teams to Score landing in four of those five.
Stoke have won just two of their last five games in all competitions and their Championship form is absolutely muck with just one win over their last five, the four others all being losses. On their league travels though things are much better where they’ve won three of their last five, losing the other two, scoring five and conceding just two.
With the home side being in the superior shape here they should continue their fine form against a Potters side down on their luck, the hosts though are suspect at the back and Stoke’s scoring record should see them getting at least one. We’re getting some great value odds here for the Huddersfield win and Both Teams to Score.
8pm: Nantes vs Brest: Both Teams to Score
TV: Mola TV
We have an all-Ligue 1 clash for a last 16 Coupe de France meeting here. Both are having decent enough seasons in the league with the home side currently occupying 9th with their opponents sitting in 13th. The home side are in slightly better form compared to their opponents here, they’ve won three of their last five in all competitions and boast the same record on home soil.
Brest have won two of their last five in all, drawing one and losing two while away from home have won two, drawn two (winning one on penalties) and losing one. The sides have met four times since 2019 at both grounds with BTTS landing in all four and with both sides scoring eighth and six over their five most recent games the best option here value-wise is Both Teams to Score.

9pm: Colombia vs Peru: Both Teams to Score
TV: FreeSports
It’s a real battle for qualification here as both teams are level on 17 points in fourth and fifth position respectively with just this and one more game to go. The home side are short odds here with the market but it’s the away side who have had the better form over recent games.
The hosts have won just one of their last five fixtures, drawing three and losing one while on home turf their record is three draws and two wins, scoring five and conceding just two, three of those games were 0-0 draws. Peru have won three, drawn one and lost one over their five most recent games but their away form is worrying having won just one of their last five on their travels, losing the other four, scoring four and conceding eight.
No doubt Peru’s are not great on their travels but their overall form compared to Los Cafeteros’ means they can’t be dismissed and, with a place in Qatar on the line, neither can afford a loss. Colombia play Argentina in their final game next week, Peru will play Ecuador. The sides faced off twice in the Copa America during the summer with the scorelines being 1-2 and 3-2 and with so much on the line we’re liking the odds for Both Teams To Score landing again here.
10pm: Venezuela vs Bolivia: Bolivia Win/Draw Double Chance
TV: Premier Sports 1
Bolivia can throw some fireworks into the apple cart here, if they get the win they could draw level with both Columbia and Peru if that one ends level in Barranquilla. The away side are in mighty form of late too, winning four of their last five, losing the other, scoring 13 and conceding three, all of which were in the same game.
Venezuela have lost four of their last five, winning the other and have won one, drawn one and lost three over their last five on home soil. Venezuela are the favourites here largely thanks to the visitor’s less than spectacular away form where they’ve lost to Uruguay, Argentina and Peru, all sides that are far better than Venezuela. The value is in opposing the home side here, we’re going with Bolivia on the Double Chance.
