Moments after witnessing yet another humiliating defeat at the hands of a rival, former Manchester United manager and club legend Sir Alex Ferguson took to social media to criticise the current regime which could spell the end for under-fire manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
A number of supporters allegedly witnessed the 79-year-old log onto his Facebook app, delete Ole from his contacts, un-tag himself from a bunch of photos of them together – including celebrations after the ’99 Champions League win – and go on a massive rant.

Sir Alex Ferguson is feeling annoyed @ Old Trafford

“Get that PE teacher out of my club. He’s a fraud. Ronny Johnsen was always my favourite Norwegian anyway.
“I’m convinced he’s involved in a dare to keep starting Fred every match. What’s that about? At least when I was dared to sign Bebe I had the decency to only play him a few times. The fans aren’t stupid, he’s got to go.
“Is Steve Bruce available as I’m sure he’d be a step up. I need some Strictly and a glass of red to take my mind off this mess….”
The status achieved fourteen likes, including ones from Usain Bolt, Jose Mourinho, Donny van de Beek and Denis Irwin. One comment was left from Kenny Dalglish saying “u ok hun? Xx”.
With morale around the club seemingly at an all-time low, Solskjaer appeared surprisingly upbeat in his post-match interview held exclusively with Paddy Power News.
“There’s a lot of plus points we can take from today,” said a buoyant Ole.
“For a start, that performance from Eric Bailly was exactly what we needed to take the pressure off Harry Maguire. An own goal and looking like a lost puppy, we couldn’t have asked for him to do any more for his captain. Luke Shaw only made four mistakes; when against Liverpool he made seventeen, so that is a definite improvement if you ask me.
We also didn’t lose the second half which is as good as a win.
“Then there was Cristiano. What can I say about the boy that hasn’t been said already? He stuck around until the very end clapping the fans for coming rather than throwing his arms in the air and shooting off down the tunnel in a huff and a sulk. Pure class that lad. The others could learn a thing or two from him. Overall, I’m delighted,” concluded Ole.
