I worry that this piece may go live and the Arsenal manager may be a different person than the one I am referring to in this piece. Currently, it is Mr Arteta but very soon – if not before this game – he may well be catching the tail-end of the summer holidays on the continent.

The Gunners for quite sometime have been a toothless animal that shows no fight in times of great need, and this was never clearer than last Friday evening when the Premier League and the clubs fans loudly entered our screens again.

Arsenal made the short trip across town to face newly promoted Brentford and, right from the off, The Gunners showed no difference in attitude to what anything we seen in the last number of years. They were quite easily beaten in the end by a massively less well funded Bees team, that ran out comfortable 2-0 winners. That was embarrassing for Arsenal fans and the pressure on the board of directors is now at an all-time high to actually make the changes to the club’s structure.

Sunday 16:30 – Arsenal v Chelsea
Sky Sports Main Event / Sky Sports Premier League

This weekend they face another of their close town rivals, who would love nothing more than to pile on the footballing misery at the Emirates. Chelsea, since Thomas Tuchel have taken over, have been a new beast winning the Champions League and starting the season as second favourites to win the Premier League.

At the time of writing this, Chelsea are favourites to take all three points away at the Emirates, if that doesn’t indicate to you how much trouble Arsenal are in that I’m not sure what else will. Chelsea will be more than keen to unleash a firm fan favourite in returning striker Romelu Lukaku who will be very keen to open his Chelsea goalscoring account when the chance allows, he is in consideration for a starting role this weekend.

These picks in a Paddy Power Bet Builder will give you odds of around 32/1. CLICK HERE TO ADD IT TO YOUR BETSLIP.

Romelu Lukaku To Have Two Or More Shots On Target

After signing for a huge fee of £97.5m, Romelu Lukaku is back at Stamford Bridge for the first time since 2013/14 season. Lukaku should be leading the line against an ultra-soft Arsenal back line, so you can expect him to be peppering the goal of The Gunners often. Backing him to hit the target at least twice is a good place to start our Bet Builder.

Mason Mount To Have An Anytime Assist

No matter which way you look at this game, it is very difficult to see any other result than a comfortable Chelsea win and that may well spell the end of Arteta’s tenure at Arsenal. The Blues are far superior to the home side in every department and they started this season in fine form with an easy 3-0 victory against Crystal Palace.

Behind Lukaku, Chelsea will likely have Kai Havertz and Mason Mount doing their best to feed the ball into the big Belgian. Havertz playing that bit further up the pitch may give Mount a few more options in terms of passing and he could be the right call to lay on a goal for Chelsea this Sunday.

Trevoh Chalobah To Have One Or More Shots On Target

After various loan spells out of the club, Trevor Chalobah looks to have finally grab a place in Chelsea’s first team squad. He also will be looking to get a starting berth again this weekend after netting his first Premier League against Palace last week. With the confidence flowing for the youngster, don’t be surprised if that exuberance leads to him letting off a few shots in this one.

Over 1.5 Goals

I don’t see this being a tight affair and adding an Over goals selection to put ‘more meat on the bone’ and should surely pay dividends for this tie at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal v Chelsea tips summary:

Romelu Lukaku To Have Two Or More Shots On Target
Mason Mount To Have An Anytime Assist
Trevoh Chalobah To Have One Or More Shots On Target
Over 1.5 Goals
