Football Tips: Alan Cawley’s 5 League of Ireland punts for Friday’s games

Fresh from banging four out of his five League of Ireland tips into the top bin last week, Alan Cawley returns looking for a clean sweep this time around. It’s all eyes on Friday with all five games taking place on a single day.

In the two early games at 5.45pm we’ve got Sligo Rovers heading to Drogheda and St Pats hosting Longford. Later on we’ve three games at 7.45pm with Bohemians v Derry City, Finn Harps v Shamrock Rovers and Waterford v Dundalk.

St Pats and Shamrock Rovers are now tied at the top on 17 points apiece but the former hold the top spot thanks to a slightly superior goal difference. Derry’s surprise win over Sligo handed them their first win of the season and Dundalk finally got off the mark as well.
