12pm: Southampton v Burnley

I think a fairly dull, low-scoring affair looks likely here. The only thing in Southampton’s favour is that it looks like Danny Ings will return which will be a boost. But, for betting purposes, it’s his team-mates James Ward-Prowse that I’m looking at.

Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

Ward-Prowse has had six shots on target in his last five matches and I think he will be in confident mood after finding the back of the net for England during the international break. The price for Ward-Prowse to have one or more shot on target is reasonable value and that’s where I’m going in this game.

4.30pm: Aston Villa v Fulham

I think it’s worth checking the team news before betting on this game because the difference that Jack Grealish makes to Villa… well, very few players have as much of an impact on their team as Grealish. Before Grealish’s absence, Villa were averaging around 5.5 shots on target per game since Grealish has been injured that’s gone down to 3.5.

Sunday 4.30pm: Aston Villa v Fulham
Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

They’ve only scored two goals in their last five matches so I think Grealish will make a huge difference here. Whether Grealish plays or not, I think it’s hard to not see a low-scoring game here. Both defences have improved significantly and the bet I would look at here is Under 1.5 Goals.
