16:30 Man City v Liverpool: Liverpool to win
This has been a fantastic rivalry over the last number of years and I still can’t get John Stones’ goal-line clearance from early 2019 out of my head when I think of this game. Liverpool would have won the 2018/19 title if that had have gone in, but City went on and won it from there.
Every time they meet there are stories galore from the match that people debate about for ages afterwards. Hopefully, we’ll get yet another cracker on Sunday because you have to expect that one of these two sides will win the Premier League this season.
This is a home game for Man City, but having no fans at the Etihad Stadium levels the playing field somewhat. The price on Liverpool to win is just too good to ignore and I’ll actually be putting it in a couple of bets this weekend – including this treble. Take The Reds to triumph in this huge clash.

17:30 Valladolid v Athletic Bilbao: Athletic Bilbao to win
We head to Spain between the two Premier League games, where Valladolid welcome Athletic Bilbao to the José Zorrilla Stadium. Valladolid current sit bottom of the table and finishing just six points from the drop last season. On expected points Valladolid actually should have been second bottom last term, so they did well to stay up.
Valladolid have also lost their best defender Karim Salisú since then though, as he moved to Southampton in August. Meanwhile, Athletic Bilbao had a brilliant win at home to Sevilla last weekend and I just fancy the Basque side to grab another victory here.
19:15 Arsenal v Aston Villa: Arsenal to win
Arsenal should be favourites to win this at kick-off time on Sunday. Aston Villa go to the Emirates on the back of losing their last two games. People get a bit carried away with Villa’s unbeaten start to the campaign, but against Sheffield United there was an early red card for The Blades and they only beat them 1-0.
It also took a last-minute strike for Dean Smith’s side to better Leicester after Ross Barkley managed to get away from a switched off Hamza Choudhury to nick it. Villa are not as good as people think they are and based on Arsenal’s excellent performance at Old Trafford last weekend, I’m going to tip The Gunners for a win to round out this treble.
