Football Tips: RB Leipzig to outsmart Man Utd in our 15/1 Same Game Multi

One of the craftiest managers in Europe takes on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Wednesday night.

Manchester United are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get. They tackle RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday with the German club flying in the Bundesliga this season.

We’ve got a tidy 15/1 Same Game Multi bet lined up, and with Paddy’s Acca Insurance that means if one of our four legs doesn’t land, we get our stake back (up to £/€10) as a free bet.

Here’s what we fancy for tonight’s game…

Are… are Man United becoming the Liverpool of old? I don’t mean in the sense that they’re very good at football, I’m more alluding to the fact that they’re rubbish yet seem to turn it on in Europe despite their clear limitations.

Manchester United is a football club divided at the moment, and neither viewpoint can be fully endorsed because of a conflict of interests. Half the club think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is out of his depth and therefore can’t enjoy the European triumphs, while the other half adore him, but have to see United play in the league every week.

Wednesday 8pm: Man Utd v RB Leipzig
BT Sport 2

Remember when it used to be so straightforward? Then again, people use to despise United back then. Now, they’re almost a good news story in a group with two of the most disliked clubs in the world in PSG and RB Leipzig. How the times change, eh?

It would probably be a stretch to say United are favourites to finish third in this group, especially after beating PSG on the opening day, but a win here should secure them progression in all but name, as they’d only really need a pair of handy wins up next, and a point against either of the big two. All to play for – anyone for a same game multi?

RB Leipzig or the Draw

This unit have conceded just three times in their Bundesliga campaign to date, and they’re so well-drilled that they could honestly be somewhat of a shout to get the last four in the competition again. They’ve got one of the best centre halves in Europe in Dayot Upamecano and Spurs only know all too well how clever they are in transitions too.

If you can break down Atleti in a knockout game in this competition, you’re onto a winner – so I don’t envisage a situation where they don’t score, and certainly not where they concede twice. We like the look of RB Leipzig or the Draw in the Double Chance market.

Under 0.5 RB Leipzig First Half Goals

But they won’t be setting up to attack from the off – it’s not their bag when away from home. They’ll allow United possession to try and suss them out, before Julian Nagelsmann changes it at half-time to exploit the spaces they leave when they piece attacking shapes together.

He might be the most pragmatic manager on the continent and they consistently reap the rewards but they won’t set the place on fire in the 45 as they asses the situation so Under 0.5 RB Leipzig First Half Goals seems smart.

Emil Fosberg to Have 3 or More Shots

He’s a handful, Emil Fosberg. His goalscoring record is nothing to get excited about, but he’s a nuisance in the box. While Leipzig generally have well-worked moves that end in him being the final touch, he’s also got a knack of jumping on defensive errors because of his anticipation. Where have we seen this before? Don’t be surprised if the busy Emil Fosberg has 3 or More Shots and capitalises on this shaky United defence.

Angelino to Have a Shot

This is a lovely storyline because not only has he been Leipzig’s best player this year, but he’s on loan from Man City, and he if he’s the one to send clip United’s wings, there’ll be a moment’s respite in Eastlands to distract themselves from the fact they have to play Oleksandr Zinchenko at left full back.

He’s scored four times in his seven appearances, FYI. Angelino to Have a Shot might be the best value play in the game.

These selections in a Same Game Multi add up to a fab 15/1
