With an FA Cup win under their belt and the transfer window whirring into action, the rumours around who Arsenal may sign this summer are ramping up.
Here at Paddy Power, we think their most likely signing – Willian aside – is Thomas Partey, the Atletico Madrid midfield enforcer.
Philippe Coutinho is rated 11/10 second-favourite to head to the Emirates, followed by Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele at 3/1.
And, with reports suggesting Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ‘dreams’ of playing with Dembele, our traders rate it 9/4 for him to make the switch to the Camp Nou rather than the other way around.
In terms of current Premier League stars that may move to Arsenal, Wilfried Zaha tops the list ahead of Southampton striker Danny Ings (9/1).
To recuperate some finances after this spending spree, Ainsley Maitland-Niles is priced at 9/4 to move to Brighton, Alexandre Lacazette is 2/1 to join Juventus, and Mesut Ozil is 5/1 for an MLS move.
Paddy said: “It looks like Mikel Arteta needs to plan a Partey, as he’s top-rated to join the club this window, with Willian already looking like a done deal.
“Sorry, that was a dreadful pun, but in all seriousness, it could be a busy few weeks for fans of Arsenal transfer Twitter.”
