Both of these sides have had an interesting few days and both for not great reasons.
Firstly Man City were thrown unceremoniously out of the FA Cup by Arsenal (of all teams) at the weekend by their former first-team coach and all-round good guy Mikel Arteta.
It was a performance from Arsenal that really should worry City fans , they were made to look ordinary by a team that have been pretty lousy all season and are due to finish around mid-table in the league.
Man City clearly are a better team than showed up last weekend but that is two atrocious performances in 5 games heading into the Champions League against newly crowned La Liga champions Real Madrid.
There has been a lot going on behind the scenes at the Etihad of late and maybe distractions are causing an issue with focus, with one eye of City will surely by on the UCL game in a few weeks.
Watford have said goodbye to poor ‘ol Nigel Pearson… but why? It seems like a very strange move as they are right in the thick of it still fighting off relegation.

When he took over just before Christmas last year, the Hornets were rock bottom and in serious danger of playing in the Championship next season. Either way this isn’t a good news story for Watford fans, and plugging the gap with Hayden Mullins makes me worry for them.
So, onto the game itself on Tuesday evening at Vicarage Road. Man City are 1/3 shots to take home the 3 points meaning they have approximately a 75% chance of winning, and from what I can see I wouldn’t be making this price any different.
Even though I am really trying to find an angle here for Watford to take something from this game, I just don’t see it
City have beaten Watford on their last 12 meetings in all competitions, also scoring at least 2 goals in all of these wins. They also beat Watford 8-0 in the reverse leg of this fixture at the tail end of 2019.
I think you can see where I am going with this, now to try and find a bet or three.
Raheem Sterling is still 6 behind Jamie Vardy in the Golden Boot race and probably too far off given how close we are to the end of the season. But that won’t stop him trying to bag a few, and we can find some value here in the Power Price markets.
