Leeds United fans were sent into a frenzy this morning as new owner Andrea Radrizzani tweeted there’d been “white smoke” in the club’s search for a new manager.
The Whites have been without a manager since Garry Monk decided he couldn’t do business with Radrizzani at the end of the season and has since left to become Middlesbrough boss.
After a huge run of punts this morning, it now seems like Radrizzani has chosen former Real Madrid and Tottenham manager Juande Ramos to be the new head honcho at Elland Road.
White smoke from ER! Big day for @LUFC fans. Thank you for the patience and support, our Manager will be announced very soon

Asked about the possible appointment spokesperson Paddy Power said: “We’ve had a sudden flurry of bets this morning on Juande Ramos being the new Leeds manager. Really.
“He’s come in from 20/1 long-shot to 4/6 favourite on Paddy Power. That’s a bigger turnaround than even Theresa May’s policy-making. He always said that Juande he’d be back.”
A decision expected around midday and you can view the market here.
