We’re really putting Paddy Power ambassador Phil Thompson through his paces this Saturday but, as always, he’s stepped up to the plate to deliver your one-stop shop for all of Saturday’s biggest Premier League action. That’s right, he’s covered not one, not two, but THREE games for you right here. He’s also picked out a special 8/1 Thommo Turbo Treble for the 3pm kick-offs.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

First up it’s Chelsea v Wolves at 3pm before Brighton v Manchester United kick off at 5.30pm. We’ve got a rare Saturday night treat and it should be a cracking match with Liverpool v Tottenham getting underway at 7.45pm. Let’s get to Thommo’s punts for this Saturday.

3pm: Chelsea v Wolves

What’s happened with Chelsea? They’re just floating. I’ve had a look at a lot of these teams towards the end of the season and teams are having clusters of results.

Not just some of the big boys, but some of the lesser teams are having these runs. Chelsea are having a bit of a wobble because they’ve lost three of their last six in the Premier League which is not like them.

Since winning in the 6-0 game against Southampton they’ve just scored four in four Premier League games so they’ve lost their way a little bit. With Wolves, we were talking about how they were going to get at least a Europa League spot. They’ve lost the last three Premier League games without scoring.

It’s been really hard for them, they’ve lost four of the last five away Premier League matches. I do think Chelsea have to get themselves out of this and I am expecting, against Wolves and being at home, that they will do so.

I’m going for Chelsea to win this without conceding, so Chelsea to Win to Nil, because Wolves have not shown great firepower of late. I know Chelsea have not been very good but I’m going for a 2-0 Chelsea Win.

I’m going for Timo Werner to Score Anytime. He’s been looking a lot hotter lately. He’s been getting starts, I think he’s looking a bit more confident so I’m looking at Timo Werner to Score Anytime.

5.30pm: Brighton v Manchester United

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

It’s an interesting one, because United got that win against Brentford. They’re probably delighted with it but it was their first win in four Premier League games.

Obviously there’s a lot of talk and stuff going on around the football club about what’s going to happen when Erik ten Hag comes in. It is difficult at the moment.

They’ve won only three of their last 12 in all competitions but I am expecting them to come good. They will be feeling better about themselves after that Brentford win.

Ralf Rangnick Man Utd

And Brighton, as I said about the cluster of teams, Brighton couldn’t find a win. All a sudden they’ve won three of their last five. They’ve been unbeaten in their last 11 when they’ve scored first, winning nine of those. That’s an interesting one if anyone’s having a bet during the game.

They have been better away from home. The home form is not great so I’m going for a Manchester United Win. But, because of Manchester United’s defensive frailties, I am expecting Brighton to score.

I’m going for Manchester United to Win 2-1 so Both Teams to Score. I was watching the game against Brentford and I thought Cristiano Ronaldo looked great but for a bit more value I’m going for Bruno Fernandes to Score Anytime.

7.45pm: Liverpool v Tottenham

TV: BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate

This is a massive game for both sides and it’s wonderful. Both teams are in good form. As we know it’s been a terrific week for Liverpool, absolutely terrific.

They were 2-0 down against Villarreal and came back to win it 3-2. Yes, if you’re asking my opinion, I would much rather play Real Madrid than Manchester City. It might still go wrong but I’ve just got so much appreciation for Manchester City… it would have been a nerve-wracking game.

But Liverpool have kept eight clean sheets in their last nine which is really good. They’ve won 12 Premier league games at Anfield, scoring 35 in those 12 games. At home they’re really good.

Liverpool have been unbeaten in their last t 11 at home against Spurs. So, it’s all pointing that way but Spurs are not doing too bad themselves, they’ve won eight of the last 12 Premier League games.

They’ve been unbeaten in their last three away Premier League games, winning two of them. Spurs come here in quite good form, I think it should be an absolute cracker on Saturday night.

I do feel for those Spurs fans coming up for the game, how will they get back home? They don’t think about fans these days. Hopefully they will be going home a bit sad!

I do expect them to score, it’s not going to be high scoring. I’m going to go for Liverpool to Win 2-1 so Both Teams to Score. I do think it’s Mo Salah’s time. I’m going for Mohamed Salah to Score Anytime in this.
