Paddy Power ambassador Phil Thompson doesn’t believe in rest and rotation. The Liverpool legend is back in the heart of our starting XI for the FA Cup 3rd Round fixtures and this time it’s West Ham v Leeds on the agenda.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS
It’s a grand old clash between two sides who might fancy a cup run this year. West Ham are going well in the Premier League while it’s been a frustrating year for the injury-hit Leeds. But, who’s progressing to the 4th round? Here’s Thommo’s West Ham v Leeds tips.
Sunday 2pm: West Ham v Leeds
ITV and ITV Hub
I think Leeds could play into the hands of West Ham. West Ham do like to counterattack. Leeds throw everything at every game and even West Ham at home, they sit there, they defend very well and then counter-attack.
They won 3-2 at Palace which was a great result for them and it’s now two wins on the trot with that 4-1 win at Watford. I do fancy them but as I said about Leeds they always go for it.
They will be feeling quite buoyant with that great win at home against Burnley. It was their first win in five in the Premier League so they will be feeling good but I do think West Ham will Win this one.
I’m going for Both Teams to Score in this and I do fancy Jarrod Bowen to Score Anytime. I think David Moyes will go quite strong, he’ll want to give West Ham fans a good run in the FA Cup.
My score prediction is 2-1. I don’t think there’ll be a lot in it but I’m going 2-1 to West Ham.
