Paddy Power football ambassador and Liverpool legend Phil Thompson is back in the ring for another swing ahead of this round of midweek Premier League fixtures. The action is spread over three days with at least a brace of games on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

To celebrate this footballing feast Thommo’s served up a tasty treble for Wednesday’s action which includes a laser-like look at Southampton v Leicester, Watford v Chelsea, West Ham v Brighton all at 7.30pm. So, without further ado, here’s Thommo with his midweek Premier League football tips.

This is my Wednesday treble. I’ve gone for Leicester to beat Southampton, Chelsea to beat Watford and West Ham to beat Brighton.
You’re probably thinking, ‘You’ve got Liverpool in there playing against Everton,’ but I’ve played in these games and that’s why I’ve not put Liverpool in!
I was looking at it with Chelsea being away and Manchester City at Aston Villa, they’re probably quite similar prices but Villa, I think, are on the bounce and I think there’s probably a bit more value out of Chelsea.
You’ve got two games on the Tuesday, two games on the Thursday but this is a nice, juicy Wednesday evening of Premier League football.
