NEW TO PADDY POWER?

We’re taking a look at some of the heavy-hitters involved in this weekend’s MLS fixtures. We’ll be taking a look at three clashes from the Eastern side of the table, where New England Revolution host New York City, New York Red Bull are taking on DC United and Montreal welcome Nashville north of the border. First up though to the Western Conference where leaders Seattle Sounders face Minnesota United.

These picks in an acca-insured four fold will give you odds of around 30/1. CLICK HERE TO ADD IT TO YOUR BETSLIP.

Saturday 22.00: Seattle Sounders v Minnesota United – Both Teams to Score

Seattle are just a point ahead of Colorado Rapids in second and two above Sporting Kansas City. They’re obviously in decent overall form, having won three of their last five, drawing and losing one each, however, their form at Lumen Field is terrible. On home turf they’ve only won one of their last five, drawing one and losing three.

Minnesota have won two of their last five, drawing two and losing one while away from home have won just one, drawing three and losing one. The pressure is really on Seattle to get back to their best here and with a scoring average of 1.50 per home league game we’d expect them to get at least one here, especially since they’ve beaten Minnesota over all five of their most recent fixtures played at home. Minnesota are averaging 1.20 per away game and have scored at least two in three of their last four away games. Both Teams to Score gets us off the mark here.

Sunday 00.00: New England Revolution v New York City – New England Revolution to Win

Eastern Conference leaders New England Revolution have a 14 point lead over Orlando City, in second place, as it stands. They’ve won four of their last five MLS games, losing the other one and at home have won eight of their last 10 league games, drawing one and losing one.

New York City’s away form is muck, they’re winless over their last six on the road, drawing two and losing four and while New York have made things tough for the Revs over previous visits to the Gillette Stadium, the home side’s form cannot be argued with here.

Sunday 00.00: New York Red Bulls v DC United – DC United Draw No Bet

Neither side are in the best of shape coming into this one, the Red Bulls have only won one of their last five MLS games, drawing one and losing three, scoring just three goals. DC have won two and lost three of their last five, scoring 10. At home, the Red Bulls have also won just one, drawing two and losing two, scoring four goals.

DC share the same record over their away games but have scored 10 goals. The market fancies the home side here but with the goals drying up and DC United scoring plenty of late we’re going to take the away side with some insurance and go with the Draw No Bet option here.

Sunday 01.00: Montreal Impact v Nashville – Montreal to Win and BTTS

Montreal have won two of their last five MLS games, drawing two and losing one but their home form has been outstanding in the league of late where over their last seven matches they’re undefeated, winning five and drawing two. Over 2.5 goals and BTTS was seen in five of those seven games.

Nashville are in robust overall shape too, winning three of their last five, drawing one and losing one but their MLS excursions have been somewhat underwhelming where they’ve won just one of their last five, drawing three and losing one. It’s a rare enough event that Montreal keep a clean sheet and Nasville have scored 12 over their last five home/away games. Montreal to Win and BTTS has the value here.
