NEW TO PADDY POWER?
The deadly duo are going in two-footed on Newcastle v West Ham at 2pm on Sunday before champions Manchester City head to Tottenham at 4.30pm. So, where’s the smart money going on Sunday?

It’s quite a hard game to call. Both of these teams are similar in that they’re both very reliant on injury-prone strikers. If Callum Wilson is fit Newcastle are a different team. Similarly for West Ham, if Michail Antonio is fit that makes them a different side as well.
My one concern for West Ham coming into this season is Jesse Lingard. It doesn’t look like he’s going to be returning to the club and he was hugely influential in the second half of last season. But, I think that Said Benrahma can fill the void there.
With Antonio and Wilson to the fore here I can actually see quite a high-scoring game. It was a 3-2 win for Newcastle when these two teams last played at St. James’. I like Both Teams To Score here.

Newcastle had a good end to the season, winning five of their last eight. Prior to that it was two in 19. You can see they’re going into the close season on a little bit of a high. Callum Wilson has scored eight in 10 goals against West Ham. He does quite like them. I am going just for a West Ham Win but I fancy Michail Antonio.
He’s an inspiration for West Ham. He gives you everything and leaves nothing in the dressing room. I think Michail Antonio will Score Anytime. I also think Callum Wilson will Score Anytime in a 2-1 West Ham Win.
4.30pm: Tottenham v Man City

Manchester City were last season’s top goal scorers and they had the best defence. You can’t knock them. The only issue is goal scorers. Ilkay Gundogan was their top scorer last season and I think he’ll Score Anytime here. I can see Manchester City winning this.
With everything hanging over Spurs’ heads with Harry Kane potentially moving to City, I don’t think that’s going to help them. I think Kane might be on the bench but I don’t think it’s going to help Spurs, I do think it’s a little bit early in the season for them. I can see a quite comfortable 2-0 Win for Manchester City.

This is a good time to play City, I would say, for Tottenham with potentially Ederson, Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden, Kyle Walker and Raheem Sterling all absent. I can’t see them getting the job done, though.
Even for a weakened City I can see this being a sort of facile 1-0 or 2-0 victory. Again, I’m not convinced by Nuno Espirito Santo’s hire at all for Tottenham. I think their managerial search in the summer spoke of a club without a clear vision. I’m very down on Spurs this season, as you can tell! I’ll go for a 2-0 win to Man City and it might be worth taking a look at Ferran Torres to Score Anytime if he starts.
