12.30pm: Luton v Watford – Watford to Win
Watford have just five games left to navigate in their quest to return to the Premier League and they should take another big step here against a Luton side with nothing to play for. The Hornets are 2nd, eight points behind Norwich and seven ahead of Swansea.
They’re unlikely to move up or down for the remainder of the season but still have work to do to ensure they go up. Luton are 13th and should be commended on a good season but you have to expect nothing less than a Watford Win.
12.30pm: Hull v Fleetwood – Hull (-1)
Hull have won three games on the bounce and are just doing enough to keep Peterborough off their backs at the summit of League One. The Tigers are three points clear of The Posh and hold a superior goal difference over Darren Ferguson’s team, but they have played a game more than the chasing pack.
They take on Fleetwood in 13th on Saturday with everything to lose, but they’ve turned it on a bit recently, winning their last two games 3-0. Fleetwood are decent enough but our selection, with the bit between their teeth, should be able to beat the Hull (-1) handicap here.
12.30pm: Burton v Plymouth – Over 2.5 Goals
Burton and Plymouth sit 17th and 16th in League One respectively and both have already done enough to ensure they stay up. This sense of security might have thrown the shackles off a little and we’ve seen plenty of goals over these two’s last 10 combined games.
There have been 13 goals in Argyle’s last five, an average of 2.6 per game while Burton fans have witnessed 12 goals in the iFollow stream over that period, an average of 2.4. That gives us a combined average of 2.5 and, with that end of term feel fast approaching, it’s worth backing Over 2.5 Goals in this game. This is a bet which has landed in 70% of these two’s combined last 10 games.
12.30pm: Grimsby v Bolton – Bolton to Win
League Two’s rock-bottom side Grimsby host 3rd-placed Bolton with their faint hopes of maintaining their League status likely to be all-but extinguished come 3pm on Saturday. They’re seven points from safety with six left to play while The Trotters are plodding along nicely, are into the automatic promotion spots, and are looking for their third win on the bounce.
Bolton have won 13 of their last 17 league games while Grimsby have won just seven all season. Wanderers have a great chance of winning the league, despite a tricky remaining fixture list, and Bolton should Win here to take another big step towards promotion at the very least.
