You’d be forgiven for thinking it’s the late 90s or early 00s with the amount of media attention David Beckham has received over the past few days.
Following the release of his documentary series on Netflix, the former England captain has come back to remind everybody about his ever-changing hairstyles, fantastic freekicks, the levels of hatred directed at him after World Cup ’98, and, of course, his love for a Spice Girl.

Having been together since 1997, married since 1999 and with a gaggle of kids trailing behind them, Golden Balls and Posh Spice seem to be a match made in heaven… however it could have been very different if VB had chosen to date one of his United team mates instead of him when she visited United all those years ago.
And Paddy Power News sources can have revealed a string of ex-United players were given the Posh brush-off before she found her Prince Charming practising free-kicks out on the training pitch…

Posh declined the advances of the United hitman once she realised he was really only interested in getting her to duet with him on his track ‘Outstanding’ which reached number 68 in the UK charts.

Brian McClair was completely shut down after Victoria couldn’t get to grips with his strong Scottish accent – she assumed he was offering her a chocolate éclair when he introduced himself and, as a world famous performer, cakes and chocolate were well off limits.

Victoria was once overheard telling Scary Spice that she “couldn’t be arsed” with all the Kung Fu and weird poetry.
