    Arsenal v Man City, 4:30pm
    TV: Sky Sports Main Event

Arsenal lost in midweek, but the bigger blow could be to Bukayo Saka if this hamstring issue lingers.

He’s been a huge part of their improvement over the last couple of years and he’s the main danger against whoever they play.- teams are scared sh*tless of him!

    You can’t really replace him.

They have some decent options of course still. Leandro Trossard’s been fantastic for them since joingin from Brighton. He’d get into most Premier League teams, he’s a top player and the fans like him so they do have the options but Saka is irreplaceable.

And these were the top two teams in the league last year. Liverpool are in the mix there now so far this season, but still, Arsenal look like they’ll be up there again too, the game is at the Emirates, and the atmosphere is generally good aroudn them depaite the loss in France, so this is the biggest game of the season so far and one they should be up.

City won in Europe after losing against Newcastle and Wolves.

I don’t think anyone could’ve talked about them being in “a crisis” because they lost two games – they’re still top of the league! – but they very rarely slip up, so goign out of the Carabao Cup and then losing at Wolves in the Premier League and some people might start to think “Oh my God, they need a win!”

    It’s hilarious really.

And it does at least bring a few teams closer in the league when they drop points like that – Spurs Arsenal, Liverpool, Brighton and Villa – there’s only three points covering six teams at the top.

    Man City to Win

It’s good for the league, but you still know City are the team to beat. And they’ll be strong favourites against anyone – you saw how they were so dominant against Leipzig. The goals might’ve come a bit late, but they completely controlled the game.

Even without De Bruyne and Rodri, they’ve so much strength in depth and they should do business on Sunday as they’ll want to bounce back after last week’s loss.

    Erling Haaland to Score

The fact they have these absences has allowed others to show up. I’ve said it before but Julian Alvarez would walk into any other Premier League team, and he’s getting a chance to link up with Haaland with De Bruyne out, albeit playing in a different type of role.

The two of them are lethal. Alvarez has acored quite a few recently, but I’ll go for Haaland to net at least one on Sunday.

Phil Foden to Have 1+ Shots on Target

Phil Foden was on scoresheet on Wednesday and should be a threat to Arsenal all game.

A shot on target for him seems likely.

Mateo Kovacic to Commit 1+ Fouls

I don’t think there’ll be many cards but this is a big game that everyone will be watching so I expect a few fouls.

Mateo Kovacic is in midfield for City and often comes to the attention of the ref.

William Saliba to Commit 1+ Fouls

And with the Arsenal centre-halves going up against Haaland they might have to make a few interventions that could lead to fouls, so William Saliba might get himself in trouble against the big striker.
