THOMMO: That big four became a big six and I think the bracket’s going to have to get even bigger with Newcastle coming to town with all their money and the performances of Brighton last year as well.
Newcastle are breaking the mould but I like what Erik ten Hag’s doing at Manchester United. You look at them, United need a striker and Rasmus Hojlund’s the man who’s been trusted to come in.
Mason Mount gives energy from that midfield, they’ve always had a decent midfield but you never thought that Scott McTominay and Fred were the right combination. Mount’s arrival and the signing of Hojlund has put United into 4th spot ahead of Newcastle in my opinion. I think Newcastle will just miss out and be 5th.
Premier League Top 6 Finish Betting Tips
Finishing 6th at the moment I’ve got Tottenham. I think that the ship has been steadied with James Maddison coming in. He’s a very good player and is creative in midfield, he’s exactly what they need.
That’s what I like about a lot of the teams I look at them, and they have identified what they actually need in their side and they’ve gone out and sought them. That’s why I’ve got Spurs in 6th.
Because of the resurgence of Brighton I’ve got them in 7th place. Chelsea, I’ve got them in 8th. I still think there’s a lot of turmoil there chopping and changing the revolving door is still going around and that doesn’t help for a nice steady dressing room.
