Manchester United and Newcastle United are set to meet at Wembley to contest the first major domestic final of the season.
It has been nearly six years since the Red Devils lifted a trophy and taking home the Carabao Cup would be reward for the significant progress being made under Erik ten Hag’s management.

Crouchy: It’ll be a huge day for Newcastle, it’s been far too long since they’ve had a day like this. It’ll be a fantastic watch but you have to fancy Manchester United.
I think Newcastle are ahead of schedule and they’re having an incredible season. Defensively they look so solid and they’ve got players who can hurt you. The Liverpool result was a bad one but I don’t think anyone expected them to be doing as well as they are. I don’t think they’ll tail off and it looks like a huge fight for 4th place.

I do think Manchester United will lift the trophy on Sunday, as much as I want Newcastle United to do it. It’s a proper footballing city, proper footballing club, it’s a club that I would love to see win it, but my head’s ruling my heart here and I think Manchester United will win it.
