Liverpool have moved to the top of the Premier League table after manager Jurgen Klopp moved to not count any goal scored against his side this season.
The title race was blown wide open over the weekend with both leaders Arsenal and second-place side Man City losing.
And despite the record books showing a miserable 3-0 defeat for Liverpool at strugglers Wolves, the Reds are now sitting pretty at the top of the table.
NEW TO PADDY POWER NEWS?
Despite the official Premier League standings putting Liverpool in tenth place, Klopp spent Saturday evening finding reasons to rule out goals his side had conceded throughout the season, enabling the Reds to leapfrog the nine sides above them.
Paddy Power News has learned the German coach has updated his side’s 2-1 Old Trafford defeat against United from back in August to a comfortable 1-0 win, claiming the Jadon Sancho goal doesn’t count because ‘we don’t see much of him these days so can’t really count that goal’.
Marcus Rashford’s effort was also erased because “he didn’t do his finger pointing to his head celebration thing-ma-jiggy, meaning that goal doesn’t apply at all’.

Terrible performances away at Brentford and Brighton have also seen goals against removed from the record.
“Jurgen was buzzing at training this morning because he couldn’t believe his side find themselves top of the table,” a club source said. “He was brimming with pride at their defensive record.”
In related news, Klopp has been busy researching better comebacks for his increasing squables with journalists.
The Liverpool manager refused to answer a question from a hack following the 3-0 defeat 0-0 draw at Molineux but was unable to give a witty reason as to why.
Along with doctoring the league table to suit goals he only wants to see, Klopp has been spotted consulting with former TV pundit Charlie Nicholas over potential comebacks in future press conferences.
