Rafa Benitez has told Nottingham Forest he can keep them in the Premier League – if the board will sanction another 60 signings in January.
Forest are bottom of the table after eight games with many attributing their league position to the club’s lack of activity in the summer.
This is what happens when you don't bring in enough players in the transfer window.
Forest only have themselves to blame.

The East Midlands club signed a paltry 21 players during the transfer window leaving them particularly light in defence with only 14 first-team defenders on the books.
Current boss Steve Cooper is thought to be on borrowed time after his side suffered their fifth consecutive defeat on Monday evening as they were hammered 4-0 by fellow relegation candidates Leicester City.
‘When James Maddison scored the third and I saw Brendan tearing up three brown envelopes, that’s when I knew I should start browsing the Job Finder’, Cooper told Paddy Power News after the game.
Benitez has been out of work since failing to relegate Everton at the behest of his previous employers at Liverpool.
The 62-year-old Spaniard was spotted riding through Nottingham city centre on horseback while dressed in full Robin Hood attire and clutching a piece of paper.
We caught up with the former Valencia boss outside the City Ground.
‘In my hand, I have a list of players’, Benitez told Paddy Power News.
’If the board will sanction the signing of these 60 players, then Forest will stay up. That is a FACT’.
‘As you have probably already guessed, Salomon Rondon is at the top of that list’.
‘Antonio Nunez, Alberto Aquilani and Andros Townsend are among the other targets which have served my previous clubs so well’.
Meanwhile, a shirtless Sean Dyche has been spotted outside the City Ground with a crate of Carling Black Label under his arm.
‘Gis a Job………I can do that’, said Dyche, before gargling some gravel.
‘Never mind Rafa. You Forest boys want you some four-four-f**king-two GM Vauxhall Dyche ball’.
*Paddy Power’s breaking news coverage is just complete nonsense, every word of it. Honest.
