The drama. The tension. The entertainment. There’s nothing quite like the Championship play-offs.
Fulham don’t have to worry about doing the business at Wembley for the third time in five seasons after breaking the 100-goal barrier on their way to the league title, while Bournemouth are back in the top flight after securing the second automatic promotion spot.

With the 46-game Championship season concluding last Saturday, attention turns to the end of season shootout after Huddersfield and Nottingham Forest were joined in the top six by Sheffield United and Luton.
Sheffield United seemed well out of the promotion picture after a slow start under Slavisa Jokanovic but Paul Heckingbottom sharpened the Blades and they still have the chance to secure an instant return to the Premier League.
Luton bounced back from a 7-0 thrashing at Fulham to beat Reading on the final day of the campaign and hold onto sixth place, which has Hatters fans dreaming of a place among the top-flight elite.
It’s a quick turnaround between the end of the regular season and the play-offs so the four teams left standing will have little time to prepare for the two-legged semi-finals.
We’ve rounded up the key dates for the 2021/22 Championship play-offs so you don’t miss a second of the action.
