Already the Champions of Europe, their supporters could soon be able to boast of being ‘Champions of the World’ at their rivals, with the FIFA Club World Cup tournament underway.

It’s one of few trophies the Bluews are yet to win, but Thomas Tuchel’s men are already through to the semi-finals by virtue of winning the Champions League last season.
This is set to be the last edition of the competition before FIFA shakes up the format to include an extra 17 teams, with just seven taking part in the FIFA Club World Cup 2021, re-arranged to take place in February 2022.
The tournament is being hosted in Abu Dhabi, and begins on Thursday, February 3, with the final on Saturday, February 12.
