When do England play next? Three Lions’ fixtures after Denmark Euro 2020 match

England's next fixture is a Euro 2020 semi-final against Denmark - but who could they face after that?

A favourable route to the Euro 2020 final has the English dreaming that 55 years of hurt will come to an end after Saturday’s memorable win over Ukraine in the quarter-finals.

With Wembley hosting the semi-finals and final, the Three Lions have home advantage at the sharp end of the tournament.

A semi-final tie against Denmark on Wednesday July 7 at 8pm lies in wait for the Three Lions, who will now believe that they can go all the way in this tournament.

England have a poor recent record against Denmark, however, as they’re without a win in their last two meetings in UEFA Nations League fixtures last year.

But the big question is when would England play next if they beat the Danes and who would they face in the final?

A semi-final success would have Gareth Southgate’s side playing Italy at Wembley on Sunday July 11 at 8pm.

The Azzurri beat Spain in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw in extra time to book their place in the showpiece. Roberto Mancini’s men are unbeaten in 33 games so they’ll provide a stiff test for whoever they meet.

If it all goes wrong for England against Denmark then it’ll be a fair old wait before they’re back in action.

A World Cup qualifying triple header would be next on the schedule starting with a trip to Hungary on September 2. They also host Andorra on September 5 before travelling to Poland three days later.

England have a 100 per cent record from their three Group I fixtures and would be well on the way to securing their place at Qatar 2022 should they win the next three.
