Premier League great Nicklas Bendtner has launched a scathing attack on the Premier League’s Hall of Fame panel over its latest snub.
The 33-year-old was once again overlooked as the final inductees of 2021 were announced yesterday.

Arsenal legend Bendtner accused the Premier League of ‘showing a complete lack of respect’ and claims players of a lesser ability such as Thierry Henry have been chosen ahead of him.
Bendtner, who scored 45 goals during seven seasons in the Premier League, is viewed as a god in Denmark – and not only by himself.
The Dane was an integral cog in the Arsenal machine which steamrollered to 4th place during the 2010/11 season.

In an angry rant directed at the Hall of Fame and its inaugural inductees, Bendtner told Paddy Power News:
‘To see inferior players like Frank Lampard and Dennis Bergkamp get selected before me is such a slap in the face’.
‘Lord Bendtner’s omission from this so-called Hall of Fame makes a mockery, not only of the Premier League but the game itself’.
‘Sure, Alan Shearer scored 1 or 2 more goals than I did. But did he ever have a ridiculously small top-knot? I don’t think so’.
‘I am the GOAT’, screamed the former Birmingham City striker before dropping his trousers to reveal boxer shorts emblazoned with the name of a certain bookmaker.
Meanwhile, it isn’t just Bendtner who’s feeling miffed by their exclusion from the recent list of inductees.
Southampton legend and all-time great Ali Dia was left fuming after the Hall of Fame panel failed to recognise his significant contribution to the Premier League.
Dia’s cameo for the Saints during the 1996/7 is still considered to be the greatest 52-minutes of topflight football played by someone pretending to be George Weah’s cousin.
‘How William Prunier, Winston Bogarde and myself missed the cut, I’ll never understand’, said Dia before tripping over his own feet and going head over arse.
