Are you Team Grealish or Team Mount?

US President Donald Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden will go head-to-head tomorrow night on the issue of ‘Grealish v Mount’. On the night that was supposed to be the second presidential debate, the pair will lock horns over a controversial subject which has polarised opinions across the globe.

The split-screen spectacle, though originally scheduled to discuss far less important issues like climate change and US foreign policy, will instead centre around the competition for a place in Gareth Southgate’s England team between Jack Grealish and Mason Mount.

Debate on the topic intensified last night, with Grealish an unused substitute during England’s 1-0 Nations League defeat by Denmark, while Mount made the starting line-up once again. Trump is a huge supporter of Aston Villa maverick Grealish with Biden a fan of the amiable Mount.

Expressing his admiration for Grealish during an exclusive interview for Paddy Power News, Trump said: “A lot of people tell me Jack Grealish has giant calves, beautiful calves, massive calves, the kind of calves the world has never seen before.

“I like his hair. He has the best hair. And also, his all-year-round orange glow. I have many friends who tell me Jack reminds them of me.

“It’s true, you can ask anybody”.

When pressed for his views on Mason Mount, the 74-year-old told us: “I don’t care for Mason, you know? He’s a low-energy person, let’s face it. We don’t need low energy. We need lots of energy”.

“Only losers like Gareth Southgate would draft a player like Mason ahead of someone like Jack. Jack is a star, he’s major league. Mason should go play for a franchise that sucks, like Manchester. Everybody’s talking about it”.

Meanwhile, Trump will be holding pro-Grealish rallies in Florida, Pennsylvania and Iowa this week as he tries to change the dynamics of a race in which Biden has a double-digit advantage in the national polls.
