With Lazio taking a 0-3 stuffing away to AC Milan on Saturday night, Juventus now find themselves seven points ahead with eight games to go (including this one).
Can Milan repeat their performance against Lazio and get the better of the Old Lady?
More importantly for us though, where is there any value in the markets? Kick-off is at 20:45.
Getting Juventus to Win above Evens here is a fairly good price on first glance.
They’ve been above Evens on five occasions while on the road in the league this season, winning three of those matches. At the San Siro against Milan they’ve only won two of the last five meetings in all competitions, looking at just Serie A fixtures only they’ve won four and lost one.
Amazingly, Both Teams to Score only occurred in one out of five of those in all comps and also in the five previous Serie A matches.
We have to look at recent form here though, Milan have scored 11 over their four Serie A matches since the return, while Juventus have scored 13. With both in good goal scoring form we’re backing Both Teams to Score here.
Over their 10 most previous away league matches Juventus have scored Over 1.5 goals in six of them.
Milan though have a pretty tight defence at home, they’ve only conceded two or more goals in three out of 10 Serie A matches. Looking at previous meetings this bet would have landed in three out of five Serie A meetings and in both of Juve’s away matches since the restart.
Normally we’d give Juventus the nod here, but Milan have been so good since the restart and now with the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the side we’re just a little put off in backing them to win.
Both teams are full of goals of late though, so getting the Old Lady above Evens to Score two goals or more is too good to scoff at.
There are ample choices here when it comes to the Anytime Goalscorer market.
Cristiano Ronaldo has five goals in 11 games against Milan, Paulo Dybala has eight in 18. But, we’re going with Zlatan here because he has four in his 10 matches so far for Milan, and with him playing as the lone striker with a five-man midfield behind him, all of Milan’s attacks are going to have to involve our favourite Big Swede.
