WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
21:15: Scott Williams v Ryan Joyce – Joyce to Win
We’ve hopefully got a winning treble lined up to fill our pockets before Christmas. First up is the battle of the Englishmen in Scott Williams v Ryan Joyce.
Joyce is a former quarter finalist and he’s had a decent season. He’s coming into this game in good form. Williams did well in the European Cup this year and he won a gold medal in that. This is his first championship, however.
Due to Joyce’s experience, we’re siding with him to get the job done.
22:15: Matt Campbell v Daniel Baggish – Baggish to Win
Next up is Matt Campbell v Daniel Baggish, which sees Canada take on America. Baggish is two from two at Ally Pally and he faces Campbell, who has never won a game in the three times he’s played in this competition.
Baggish is the outsider but he has the experience to get the win.
23:15: Nathan Aspinall v Boris Krcmar – Aspinall to Win
Finally, we’ve got Nathan Aspinall v Boris Krcmar, which should be the most straightforward of the three picks. Aspinall was a runner up in the Grand Slam earlier this year and he’s a two-time semi finalist at the World Championships.
He’s been in really good form and he’s the World No. 10. Aspinall faces Krcmar, who hasn’t won in three attempts at Ally Pally.
