Virat Kohli has had an unsurprisingly productive tournament so far, scoring 354 runs at 88.50. And this form is set to continue when considering his history against Sri Lanka. In 52 ODIs against them he has scored 2,506 runs at 62.65. When playing in India his average shoots up to 83.50. India’s star player to be India’s top run-scorer.
Mohammed Siraj top Indian Wicket-Taker
Mohammed Siraj’s record against Sri Lanka is quite remarkable. In five ODIs he has taken 16 wickets at 8.12, with a 13.0 strike-rate and economy of 3.75. Not even Sri Lanka’s main attacking weapon, Kusal Mendis, can go into this match with much confidence against Siraj – in nine deliveries he has faced from the India quick he has been dismissed three times.
