Anthony Joshua’s set to jump back in the ring and put his heavyweight titles on the line against the unbeaten Oleksandr Usyk.
After the undisputed heavyweight fight between AJ and Tyson Fury collapsed – thanks Deontay… – Joshua was forced to meet mandatory WBO challenger Usyk next. It may not have the glamour of the all-British bout we were all hoping for but let’s not quibble.
New to Paddy Power?
The scrap at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be Joshua’s first of the calendar year after last being seen in action knocking out Kubrat Pulev last December. While former undisputed cruiserweight champ Usyk’s been out of the ring even longer since defeating Derek Chisora in his second heavyweight bout last October.
With the potential for Joshua and Fury to eventually scrap it out next year, the pressure is on the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO champ. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about the big event.
