Like many others I thought Persoon just edged the first fight. A lot of the rounds were hard to call but I think age might be catching up with her now. She had a bit of a wobble last year when trying to qualify for the Olympics.
She got beat in the qualifiers which was a big shock at the time. I don’t know whether that’s worth reading into, maybe she just underestimated the opponent.
I think this one will go the distance again. I think the most likely outcome, as the odds suggest is Katie to win on the cards.
I think it’s hard to see the stoppage coming. The odds are pretty short Taylor to win on points so if you want a bit of juice, I’d suggest Taylor to win by Unanimous Decision.
If you want even bigger odds you can take a look at Taylor to win by Stoppage in round 9 or 10 as it’s hard to see the stoppage coming early in the fight.
I fancy Whyte’s work rate to pay off and for him to win a decision, but all the money we’re seeing is on the stoppages, both sides. Whyte was saying in his press conference that he’s going to knock him out, but we’ve heard that before and he’s not always been able to do it.
Whyte’s a tough one to call, he’s been around the top of the division for about five years now and we still don’t know just how good he is. I’ve seen some pundits going for Povetkin but his performance last time in Saudi Arabia against Michael Hunter kind of put me off him.
I think Whyte to win by Unanimous Decision is good value and while Povetkin might do Ok early on, I think Whyte will win the majority of the rounds so Whyte by Unanimous Decision offers slightly better odds.
Whyte to win in round 1-6is the most popular selection with the punters. People are laying that non-stop at the moment so I’d say we’d have a fair liability on that so that’s one result we certainly won’t be hoping for!

Taylor to win by Stoppage in Round 9
If you want even bigger odds you can take a look at Taylor to win by Stoppage in round 9 or 10 as it’s hard to see the stoppage coming early in the fight.
Whyte v Povetkin
I might be in the minority but I think we could be in for a bit of a dull fight here.
Whyte to win by points or decision
I fancy Whyte’s work rate to pay off and for him to win a decision, but all the money we’re seeing is on the stoppages, both sides. Whyte was saying in his press conference that he’s going to knock him out, but we’ve heard that before and he’s not always been able to do it.
Myself, I fancy Whyte to win by Points or Decision.
Whyte to win by Unanimous Decision
Whyte’s a tough one to call, he’s been around the top of the division for about five years now and we still don’t know just how good he is. I’ve seen some pundits going for Povetkin but his performance last time in Saudi Arabia against Michael Hunter kind of put me off him.
I think Whyte to win by Unanimous Decision is good value and while Povetkin might do Ok early on, I think Whyte will win the majority of the rounds so Whyte by Unanimous Decision offers slightly better odds.
